Made up of six unusual GoBots, Puzzler Pieces each turn from Robot to Vehicle, and each possess a specific Mighty Skill: Pocket's karate hand moves faster than the eye. Crossword has the crushing strength of 6 GoBots. Tic Tac is the evil mind behind Puzzler's schemes. Jig Saw, the master of diguises, bends into any shape. Rube's super senses feel the slightest movement. Zig Zag has the furious speed of a striking snake.

"A master of mind control who hides inside a Ford Pickup." Seriously.

Did it have to be this unwieldy or ugly while at the same time giving us a cool gimmick?

It seems like the natural progression for us creative types. After a while of collecting toys, you want to make toys. Not just any toys though, toys that are reminiscent of the toys you had when you were young.

Energer Z may not do much, but he is super-poseable, loaded with metal, affordable and gorgeous. There’s no reason to not get him.

How cool was it to walk into a Target, Toys R Us or K-Mart and buy a die-cast Takatoku Macross toy right off the shelf for less than $8.00? It was fantastic!

What it does, it does well, but you really have to like the alternate mode to justify buying it.

This figure doesn’t do too badly unless he’s got issues with loose joints... or you’ve got an issue with an 800-ton water-skiing alien robot.
