Toy of the Year Voting Begins!

It's that time of year again - time to vote for Toy of the Year for 2008.

Of course there were thousands of toys released both here and abroad in 2008, but there's no way we could possibly review them all. CollectionDX staff reviewed 160 toys that were released in 2008, so we're limiting voting to them. We've hand-picked what we thought were some of the best and broken them down into the following categories:

View all the polls at once here!

Below each poll is a comments section where you can agree or disagree, or write in your own vote. If you want to vote for something not on the list, just reply to the comment that is nominating it, and we'll count the replies as votes.

These polls will close in 2 weeks. When that is done we will pit the winner of each category against each other in a battle royale for the Ultimate CDX Toy of theYear for 2008.

Let the voting begin!

Review: Macross Valkyrie VF-1J Bootleg

It seems like every kid on the block had one of these Macross Valkyrie VF-1J Bootleg figures in their toy-box. Review: Brave Gokin Baldios (Limited Edition)

I've had a lot of time to sit and absorb Baldios. He is an interesting toy that I think had the misfortune of being released at an unfortunate time.

Review: FullyVisual/Gargamel diecast Zagoran

FullyVisual and Gargamel collaborate to bring us a melding modern chogokin kaiju and designer toy production: the diecast mini Zagoran! And adding Paul Kaiju to the mix couldn't hurt! ;)

Review: HCM Pro Gundam Heavyarms

The Gundam Heavyarms was my trusty Mobile Suit in the game Another Century's Episode and it is because of that game I have this awesome toy.

Review: Macross VF-1J with SUPER parts (Hikaru Ichijo TV type)

There is no shortage of paint schemes for Yamato to do in their newer line of 1/60 scale Macross Valkyrie collectibles but few would be more recognized than the classic VF-1J white with red strips Hikaru Ichijo style.
