RPG Jelly Plush is a Kickstarter project from the folks at Loading Crew Crafts. Currently, there are three plush characters unlocked - Kohath the Paladin, Nomura the Rogue, and Fanta the Mage. In the above photo, they are the yellow, blue and black plushies. The other two characters are unlocked at additional funding levels.

The actual plush toys are available beginning at the $25.00 early bird backing level. This project will only be funded if it reaches its goal by Thursday, April 27th 2017 at 12AM ET. They're slated to begin shipping around October 2017.

Funatic of the Week: Sean Omaye-Byrne!

Funko - 14 April, 2017 - 13:59

Sean Omaye-Byrne
Stockton, CA

What Funko lines do you collect? How many pieces are in your collection?

A little bit from all the lines! My favorite line right now is Overwatch. How many pieces? Wow, it's getting out of hand, haha. I haven't counted, but it's well into the thousands now, just Pop!s alone.

How long have you been a collector?

Many moons. I've collected various toys and comics and everything throughout my life, Funko heavily for what? 7 years?

What are your favorite fandoms?

Overwatch is life right now. But I love anything superheroes too.

What was your first Funko item?

Probably a Batman Pop!

What is your favorite Funko piece in your collection?

I really really love the Spider Gwen Pop!, I'm so happy that one was made.

Tell us your favorite Funko story!

My favorite Funko story is from when I first joined the Funko Funatic boards. Someone out of nowhere messaged me and asked if I had ever found a chase figure. I answered not yet, but someday hopefully. He asked for my address and a few days later, my first chase figure showed up at my door. I quickly learned how nice Funatics can be. From that day forth, whenever I see someone new to Funko, I try to pay it forward.

The shop window of Mego Dreams.....

Plaid Stallions - 14 April, 2017 - 09:08

I debated whether to put this here or on the Mego Museum but considering it's a vintage photo of a toy store in Hong Kong (and let's face it, this site has an obsession with such things).

This display of Mego Superhero items and Micronauts is my happy place, I drove my mother crazy looking for the 9.5" Robin on the far left. It looked just like Dick Grayson in the comics, it had to be mine.

Speaking of Mego, the annual convention known as Mego Meet is this June 16-17 in Skokie, Illinois. It's our last year in the Chicago area before we move to a new state, so last call mid west! Strong chance the guy at the front desk will be me, don't let that deter you.
