I really dig this line, but I would have never had a chance to experience them if it weren't for my kids. Each character is patterned after a celestial body. You've got characters designed after moons, suns, black holes and even planets. The design of these are really nice, and would look right at home next to your designer vinyls (Without all the pretentiousness). Check out this awesome playset. From the front it is designed to look like a sun - it almost looks like fabric but it is plastic. Press a button and a character jumps out on a control seat. Round the back there are all these action features, lights and sounds. As far as I am concerned, these are toys the way they should be. they are fun, well designed, and not tied in with a cartoon. In a nutshell, they rock hard.
