Thinking of films with apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic themes of interest for future reviews, I'd suggest Kinji Fukasaku's "Virus" from 1980.
I can't believe Clonky didn't mention Countdown: The Sky's on Fire, or Meltdown: Days of Destruction.
Was Battlefield Earth the movie you guys were searching for that deals with Scientology?
