5 comments postedI vote for the 'Special Creative Model EX - Gundam/ G3 Gundam'!!!..,
simply because it's (too) awesome!
If the Busou Shinki Beetles weren't splitted into 2 sets..
I picked batman Batpod
because figure was great BUT the batpod was a cool diecast vehicle...kind of like action figure and chogokin combined
My vote goes to Figma Haruhi because beside the line overall being nice, I'm also thumbing my nose at the anti-moe crowd.
Where's the love for the Bubblegum Crisis Yamato releases?
They were reviewed well and all four were of the same quality. The only problem is deciding what category they fit, since it's an action figure, but also a robot toy.
I regret that I wasn't able to get the review in before 2008 ended, but at the dawn of 2009 I finally got my hands on a Search N' Protect EVE figure from the Disney/Pixar movie "WALL-E". (Indeed, had I acquired it earlier, I would easily have included it in the '08 CDX-mas wishlist!)
While I also really like the U-Repair WALL-E figure (I would put it in this list as well), and it did represent an element from the movie, the EVE figure was far more satisfying- providing gimmicks that come straight from the movie, and yet able to pack all of this into an egg 4 and a half inches tall with no removable parts other than an arm (and no visible screws/bolts)!
