Robotech/Voltron Comic Series Announced!

From Dynamite and DC Comics

7.22.2013

Anime history was made at San Diego Comic Con as Dynamite Entertainment in association with DC Comics, WEP and Harmony Gold, announced a new crossover comic series between two legendary properties with Robotech/Voltron! Click here to read the announcement or here to watch the exciting announcement direct from the Robotech SDCC panel! "Robotech and Voltron are two of the most recognizable anime series that defined '80s pop culture," says Tommy Yune, creative director at Harmony Gold and mastermind behind the upcoming crossover.  "Both franchises have endured in their popularity today and fans have long speculated of an epic crossover between the universes.  The opportunity to do so is an honor, and it's a welcome challenge to construct a storyline that works well with key characters on both sides.  Most important of all, it's going to be a lot of fun with plenty of surprises." "For years fans of Voltron and Robotech have crossed over, and now, thanks to Dynamite Entertainment and DC Comics, we will see what happens when these two incredible universes finally fuse together," said Jeremy Corray, creative director at World Events Productions. "Get ready for the intense mecha battles and hero team-ups fans have dreamed of!" I keep seeing this comic

I keep seeing this comic advertised and i'm a huge Voltron and Robotech fan. But I so don't give a dang about this. The last Voltron comic by Dynamite sucked it started out interesting enough. But by the end it was a really hard read and I was so disappointed. And it leaves me very sceptical that this comic will be any good
