Figure
CollectionDX defines a figure as a character toy with limited (if any) articulation. A good example would be Yamato's Story Image Figure Line. Not quite a statue, due to the materials and accessories.

One of the easiest figures to obtain for the RDF series is Zor Prime or known in the original Southern Cross series as Seifriet Weibe. An important character in both series, it was a good subject choice for Matchbox to produce but the results less than desirable.

I am sure if you went into a Kaybee Toy & Hobby or Playco Toys store today you can most likely still find these figures marked down from $2.95 to 10 for 1 cent. A Legendary Peg Warmer!

I am sure new collectors of vintage Japanese Soft Vinyl toys believe that many classic characters might be out of their reach or price range due to high demand and a diminished supply of figures available. Rightfully so many of those high dollar figures are worth their value but there are quite of few high quality soft vinyl figures of classic characters still available for mere pocket change.

So, this set is a mixed bag of tricks- I like the overall anime-style of the figure and line details, but some of the poseability is confusing & annoying.

Aside from the oddly-chosen way the arms behave compared to each other, the minor limits with the skirt armor, and the rather-noticeable lack of paint on the back & arms, this set is definitely something you want to collect.
