Unifive was an independent toy company until it was bought by toy giant Bandai in 2001. It was run as a subsidary of Bandai-owned Banpresto until 2006. Unifive produced both high-end diecast toys and cheap trinkets like gashapon and trading figures.

Review: Huckebein MKII

Not just a Gundam want to be.....

Review: Shingokin Mekabuton

Even with all the modern gokin being released, this remains one of the best modern gokin in my collection. It just really captures the essence of the original toy without trying to replicate every stupid little gimmick of the show.

Review: Choshingokin Daikyojin DX

The Daikyojin is a fantastic piece of modern gokin that manages to combine modern engineering with old school aesthetics.

Review: Jumbo Machine Jet Scrander

I kept putting it off and putting it off. But when I finally bought this Jumbo accessory, I felt like an idiot for not getting it sooner.

Review: Jumbo Machine Gaiking

The last Jumbo to come from Japan......

Review: Jumbo Machine Garada K7

It's nearly impossible to review the Unifive Garada K7 Jumbo Machines without also discussing it's relationship to the legendary Popy toy.

Review: Jumbo Machine Great Mazinger

A must have for Jumbo fans.

Review: Jumbo Machine Mazinger Z

Unifive's Mazinger Z Jumbo Machine is a great piece to get for the new collector.

Review: Choshingokin Godphoenix

This toy is important to me because it fulfills a childhood desire. I have ALWAYS wanted a toy of this marvelous ship, but I had to wait until 2001 to get one.
