Supertrain Megazord

By far one of my favorite Megazords, the Supertrain Megazord is almost 18″ of chunky plastic love. I don’t know why I didn’t jump at this toy when it came out, and I even passed on it when it was on clearance. How stupid I was.

The Supertrain is made of 5 trains called Rail Rescues. Each Rail Rescue has a compartment that can fit either Rescue Megazords or Omegazords. Each train car is color coded, and has a space that fits that particular vehicle.

The 5 Rail Rescues combine to become the Supertrain Megazord. The transformation is one of the simplest of any Megazord. Big and sturdy, this is one your kids will love. Articulation is limited to the shoulders and opening hands, but it doesn’t matter. This is a great toy.

The Supertrain Megazord was originally released as the DX Grand Liner from the Japanese Sentai series Rescue Task Force GOGO V. The toy appears to be identical to the domestic release.

The toy comes with 5 Rail Rescues, a sticker sheet, and 4 antennae for the #1 and 2 Rail Rescues. The Omega Megazord comes with a clip that allows you to attach the cannon from the Omega Megazord to the back of a Rail Rescue.

(Editors note: I’m missing the 4 antennae from the trains. If you have them and want to sell them, contact me.)
