Energon Cubes

GCI Toys is a small, privately owned retailer who specializes in custom parts for transformers and 3rd Party products. One of the their newest products is custom made Energon Cubes.
Each cube is 1 inch square, and they are sold in sets of 6 or 12. Colors include green, pink, and blue.

The cubes are advertised as MP scale, but in the comics and cartoons, the cubes vary in size so its not hard to slip these into any scale display.

The cubes are made out of clear tinted resin and do an excellent job of reflecting any ambient light. They have a very cool “glowy” look even under normal lighting. All of the six cubes I received from GCI have excellent corners and edges with no air bubbles what so ever. The cubes stack very well.

At $14.99 ($2.50 a piece) for a 6 pack, or $23.99 ($2.00 a piece) for a 12 pack the cubes arnt cheap, but I definitely feel like I got my moneys worth. The cubes have excellent lighting effects and make a great addition to my transformers display.
