So yeah... we were a little dissapointed Mattel wasn't showing anything for Voltron just yet. We did get a chance to speak with the gentleman in charge of the Voltron lines and a discussion was had. Here is what I can clarify....

There will be TWO toy lines. One Classic for the old-school fans through http://www.mattycollector.com  This line is supposed to fulfill our childhood dreams of the Ultimate Voltron toy. Now, I don't know about you, but my dream Voltron toy accomidates 3 3/4th scale pilot figures in the heads of the lions...

The other line is for Voltron Force, the new show. This is a sequel to the original series and will feature both new and old characters. This line features the all new designs and will be aimed at mass market.

I think voltron fans are going to be in for a real treat. We here at CDX are anxiously awaiting more news on both lines.
