Outside the Bandai of America booth, the Super Megaforce team greeted attendees. One of us decided to become the Sixth Ranger.

The other decided to pick a fight with the new Ranger team. We would show how that ended, but it would be too gruesome for some readers.

Inside the booth, we first checked out Bandai’s flagship Power Rangers property. We were greeted by Gokai Red...  I mean Super Megaforce Red.

For the collector’s Legacy line, we saw a couple of pieces that were already announced, such as the Legacy Dragonzord, the Legacy Gold Morpher and Legacy Dragon Dagger.

But the big reveal was the Legendary Titanus, which is set to release later this year. This giant hunk of metal and diecast will be able to combing with the Legacy Megazord and Dragonzord to become the Ultrazord. This guy is going to set you back a bit, with an MSRP of $200.

As is customary, the Zords from Super Megaforce will be produced in the ZordBuilder line.

The Legendary Megazord, the Q-Rex Megazord and Turbo Falcon.

The bikes show borrowed the themes of past seasons of Power Rangers.

 

The Jumbo Megazord and Import Japanese Megazord were not on the display floor. However, one of the BoA reps we spoke to said that the Jumbo Megazord is still in the works and there is still a plan to release the next Import Megazord this year, which will be the Gosei Great.

 

There were also several roleplay toys on display.The Legendary Morpher, masks, the Silver Ranger’s morpher and spear, the Super Mega Blaster and Saber.

There was also a Ranger Hero set, which includes the mask, a key and several smaller versions of the Ranger’s gear.

Also, several of the original Power Rangers action figures, in the muscle-y build, will be released their very own retro packaging.

Repesenting this new sub-line were the White Ranger and Armored Red  Ranger.

Since Super Megaforce revolves around the Super Mega Rangers unleashing the power of the previous generations Rangers via the Ranger keys, Bandai of America plans to release aver 60 Ranger keys this year.

Besides the interaction between the keys and other toys in the line, the Keys can also be scanned and used in conjunction with an app that will be available for iOS and Android devices. This app will allow the user to take a picture of themselves and then use the app impose the Ranger mask on themselves. The app also features a game that can be played with the newly-created avatar.

The keys will be available with the toys in the line and also in 3-packs.

 

This year will also see the release of several Armored Mega Figures.

Also returning is the articulated smaller scale Megazords, which are the spiritual successors to the Retrofire line.

Appearing at the show were the Legendary Megazord, the Thundersaurus Megazord and the Wild Force Megazord.

In celebration of the many rangers that will appear in Super Megaforce, this years’ 6.5” action figure line will a plethora of the most iconic Rangers in from the show’s history.
