This toy is fully licensed from Tsuburaya Productions of Japan. It was offered by Super7 magazine and designed by Super7 Founder Mark Nagata (now of Max Toy Co). The packaging was done by current Super7 head honcho, Brian Flynn.

Like any good Japanese vinyl, Kittyfire was offered in a variety of color schemes.

  • Glow (limited to 100 pcs)
  • Orange (limited to 100 pcs)

Kittyfire

This version, the orange version, was initially offered exclusively at the San Diego Comic-Con 2006. A few have been for sale through various outlets, but the figure is limited to 100 pcs. worldwide.

Kittyfire

The figure is 15” tall and made out of rotocast vinyl. It is articulated at the head, arms and legs. The finish on this toy is really spectacular.

Kittyfire

The box is equally as impressive as the toy. The outer box is solid matte black with a gloss black imprinting (sorry, photos don’t show this well). The box is separated about an inch from the bottom. When you pull the top up, it reveals a city scene with Kittyfire encased in plastic. It looks absolutely beautiful. It is rare when as much thought goes into the packaging as does the toy.
