Mattel kicks off Comic-Con by offering a sneak peek of the new DC Super Heroes line. Be amongst the first to see the exciting new versions of your favorite DC Comics characters.

Friday, July 15th – EXCLUSIVE SIGNING EVENT – The Batman and Justice League Unlimited

5:30 – 6:30 pm

Fans of Warner Bros. Animation’s The Batman and Justice League Unlimited will not want to miss this exclusive signing event. Come by the Mattel booth to meet the creative talent behind your favorite shows – from The Batman, Jeff Matsuda (producer), Duane Capizzi (producer), Michael Goguen (producer), and Kevin Michael Richardson (voice of the Joker); and from Justice League Unlimited, Bruce Timm (producer), Dwayne McDuffie (producer), James Tucker (producer), Shaun McLaughlin (producer) and Matt Wayne (producer). It’s a HUGE collection of animation luminaries all together in the Mattel booth.

Saturday, July 16th – EXCLUSIVE SIGNING EVENT – The Batman’s Jeff Matsuda

3:00 – 4:00 pm

The producer of The Batman returns to the Mattel booth to meet fans and sign memorabilia. Lucky enough to get one of the convention exclusive Catwoman figures from Mattel’s The Batman action figure line? What a perfect opportunity to have it signed by the producer of the show!

Mattel Comic-Con Exclusives

Using the lottery system employed in years past, Mattel will be offering an assortment of con exclusives to fans from a variety of their popular toy lines.

Lottery System: Raffle tickets will be given out each day to every Comic-Con attendee that visits the Mattel booth who has not yet had the opportunity to buy a figure. The raffle tickets will be distributed at the Mattel booth from 10 am to 1 pm each day. One ticket will be given out per Comic-Con badge. At 2 pm, the winning numbers will be drawn, announced and posted at the booth. You do not need to be present at the drawing – simply visit the booth and check the numbers before the close of the conference hall. If you have a winning number, you have the right to purchase ONE of EACH Mattel Comic-Con exclusive figures. Once you’ve had the opportunity to purchase figures, you will no longer have the right to purchase any more.

The Batman Catwoman Figure – Catwoman from The Batman animated series on the Kids WB – Comes with whip and exclusive statue. Cost: $20

Hot Wheels at Comic-Con

This year, for the first time, Hot Wheels will be at Comic-Con (booth #3445)! In honor of this special participation, there will be Hot Wheels exclusive product on hand:

Batman Begins Batmobile – Exclusive for Comic-Con 2005 and finished in chrome with black wheels. This vehicle comes accompanied by a 1.5″ tall Batman mini-figure painted silver and packaged on a Hot Wheels Batman Begins blister card. This item will only be available in the Hot Wheels booth for $20 each and is a limited edition run of only 3,000 units.
