Engine Sentai Go-Onger

Just when I think I am out, they pull me back in.

Here’s an image of the new robot from 2008’s Sentai series, Engine Sentai Go-Onger

The robot is called Engine Gattai Engine-Oh. It is comprised of the Engine Spridle (a red vehicle cross between ane eagle and a race car), Engine Buson (a cross between a Bison and a Bus) and Engine Bear (a cross between a Bear and an ATV). This can combine with Engine Baruka (Shark and motorcycle) to become EngineOh Baruka. Engine Gunbard (wolf and Police car) combines to become EngineOh Gunbard.

These are all due out in Feb 2008. I can tell you I like the look of this series very much. It reminds me of Time Bokan a bit. You can tell that Sentai is having a hard time competing with other entertainment genre like video games and is trying to appeal to a younger audience, which is fine by me.
