Malcom Reynolds

So far the Firefly ReAction has been a mixed bag. It seems to be mostly issues with sculpts, but occasionally you have some QC issues. To be fair, it’s a mass-produced $10 item, so QC errors will happen here and there.

I’m glad to say that Malcom Reynolds has no real issues to be concerned about. He’s a great little figure, and a great likeness.

Mal is the captain of the Serenity, and a veteran “Browncoat” from the wars years ago. He’s kind of awesome, in every way.

The figure comes on the nice retro card, with a glamour shot of Mal on the side.

Mal looks great. The likeness is good, the sculpt is good considering the size, and I have no QC issues.

He comes with a blaster, but that’s it. A caped version was issued as a SDCC exclusive, and there also was a blue-shirted variant.

Great figure. Now where’s my Serenity playset?
