Instar Titan Mushi
I’m going to go ahead and assume you have read the Standard Titan Mushi review, and being that the Instar is a repaint of that figure, I won’t bore you with a bunch of info you have already read.
The Instar Titan uses the exact same mold as the Titan and as such, has the same articulation and sculpt. The Instar is cast in sold prearlescent white, with black paint apps.
As with the Standard Titan, the Instar is very adapt at gripping smaller toys, and can be posed on all fours.
Just look at that cute little bug butt.
The instar lacks the deluxe paint applications of the Standard Titan, but at $33 dollars, it’s also much lighter on the wallet, and provides an excellent option for the budget minded collector. The pearlescent white vinyl looks very impressive, and presents much better in person than it does on camera. It’s hard to say which version I like more, the Standard has an evil teddy bear vibe going on, while the Instar has a grub worm / pupa look that I also really like. Both figures are a blast to pose, and look great next to each other. As with the Standard, I think any vinyl, or Glyos collector will be very pleased with an Instar in their collection.
