Kuiil

This is the way…

Kuiil was a great character from season 1 of the Mandolorian, voiced by the great Nick Nolte. It was cool to see an Ugnaut rendered in modern form, but Ugnauts have never been particularly desired by action figure collectors. Kuiil is a great figure but suffers a bit from the lack of paint detail on the body.

It just seems like the legs and arms need some kind of wearthering or detailing, it’s very plain looking, almost unfinished. But the sculpt is nice with some very fine texture and detail.

Hasbro has done a good job of hiding leg joints so we don’t have those unsightly pins at the knees anymore. Here though the clearance in front of the boot exposes the joint inside.

He’s got a nice gun, with a removable strap.

Articulation is par for the course for Black Series, but Kuiil is not a dynamic character, so extreme poses look a bit odd.

The helmet is removable but the goggles are not.
