Sasuraiger

For a show that wasn’t that popular or infulential, Sasuraiger sure has a lot of bootlegs. This particular one is a bootleg of the Plastic DX Sasuraiger. The box and toy seem indentical to the original, with the change to Made in Taiwan markings. The Takatoku logos have been removed, and the Japanese instructions on the back replaced with Engrish.

There’s an addition of the text “How to play Mastertec Robot” on the back. I’ve seen some versions of this box that have the “Shogun Robo Mastertec” branding on the front as well.

The robot itself is a nice, sturdy plastic, standing about 7 inches tall. The only articulation is in the shoulders.

Both fists fire with a good amount of force.

On the back, there is a launching mechanism that you can put 2 out of the 3 included ships into.
