Raideen Watch

This Raideen Watch is not even a real watch, it’s a play item for kids to wear. It likely came on a big card that hung in a shop with doezns like it back in the 70s. That such a cheap item has survived so long is a miracle.

It’s likely unlicensed, with no manufacturer marks and no license sticker. Still, it’s a cool novelty.

The watch feels like it’s made out of tin, with cloth covered elastics holding the links of the band together. The watch hands are fused into one unit, and turning the knob does turn the hands around.

On the watch face is the image of Raideen pilot Akira Hibiki, preparing to FADE IN to Raideen.
