Article: About
All things CollectionDX. Tutorials, help pages, FAQ and more.
I wanted to give you a quick update about goings on with myself and CollectionDX.
First off, I’ll be at New York Comic Con one day only – Friday October 10th, to participate in Viz’s Voltron 30th anniversary panel. It will be held in room 1A21 at 2PM. This panel will be recorded and will broadcast the next day on http://www.twitch.tv/nycc.
After the panel, I have an interview with Twitch which should also be broadcast live at the above URL.
At 4PM, at the VIZ booth (#1944) I will be signing copies of Voltron: From Days Long Ago along with the other contributors in attendance. The book ships October 26th, but I believe there are copies to purchase at the booth.
Happy Holidays from the CollectionDX Staff! Spend some quality time with your families, and we’ll see you after the new year. Thank you for all support, both on the site and our show, especially backers of our Indiegogo campaign!
Sincerely,
JoshB, Adam, Andrew, Andrew, Ben, Charles, Dan, Eva, JoshL, JoshR, Leonardo, Luis, Michael, Rob, Vincent, Arshad, Andy and team.
P.S. – Let us know what you got!
I did an interview with the Boston Globe last week. Apparently our YouTube account is one of the top accounts in Massachusetts! Who Knew!
We only get one paragraph, but it’s pretty cool!
We’ll be at the Boston Comic Con, April 21-22 2012 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston MA. I’ll have a CDX branded dealer table – unloading a lot of excess toys and promoting CDX. We’ll be right next to the Incubot booth!
Come visit and say hello!
Some of you may have been wondering where my reviews have been. Well, a lot has been going on here at CollectionDX and I have been super busy, but at last I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
First off we were hard at work on our CollectionDX YouTube show, which is now out of beta and running well.
Then we had the Summit, which was a lot of fun (more on that later).
But all the while I have been hard at work developing a new site to replace Anime.CollectionDX. It’s almost done, and I hope you like it. We’re aiming at a September 1 launch date.
Once that site is up and running, I get to take a breather and do some reviews, and then it’s off to the next redesign, the long-departed chogokin.net.
So stay tuned, and thanks for your patience!
Josh
