The JMBricklayer Silver Cloud 50102 is meant to be a 1964 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud Type III Convertible, but of course without the proper license it's just "Silver Cloud". It's a nice kit that really captures the aesthetic of the classic vvehicle.

The kit has 1096 pieces and is meant for ages 14 and up. the assembly took me a few hours but was not a big challenge. I always find it very relaxing to build these kits, and in the end you have a cool model to display.

This car, when completed, comes in at about 12" long, so it's a substantial size.

The first thing you notice is all the glorious chrome. This kit feels like a luxury car with all the shiny bits. The tires are a nice rubber and the vehicle has a satisfying soft roll.

The hood opens in two parts, just like the real car. There is some engine detail inside, but I imagine it's not accurate at all.

The interior detail is excellent. There are door levers, a steering wheel, even pedals on the floor.

The back seat features fold down serving trays with beverages on them, and a center table with cash and food on it. This table holds a secret - it's how you turn the front wheels! I don't know why the steering mechanism isn't connected to the steering wheel!
