This is my son Nathan. He is 2 1/2 years old, and he is the most adorable thing ever. While most of my toy collection is off limits, there are some toys he gets to play with.

Last weekend, my friends Mason (mcfitch) and Josh (JoshF), came over to talk toys and have dinner. Mason had brought over a Gaiking 2 in 1 for me that Nathan really took a liking to.

Josh and I filmed him playing with the Gaiking. Watching this really drove home the fact that all these things we collect are still just toys to be played with. Nathan doesn't care about articulation. He doesn't care about which version it is. He could care less about ebay. To him, it's just a damn cool robot.

I wish I could see these toys through his eyes.
