Master Grade Sazabi ver. Ka from Gundam: Char's Counterattack Updated

Bandai has been teasing prototype pictures of this for a month or so and here's a full CGI render of the upcoming Master Grade Sazabi ver. Ka. This redesign by famous designer and sunglasses model, Hajime Katoki, is meant to be the companion piece to the Nu Gundam ver. Ka that has already been released. Much like the original Master Grade Sazabi, this version looks like it will be a massive beast. Coming December 2013 for 9,000 yen.

Updated with pictures from the Malaysian Gunpla Expo

More Pics

Veef updated it.

No need to thank me, thank the internets!

I guessed right when this was first announced and what we saw at the last hobby show:

The body has three shades of red armor that are distinctive unlike the first Sazabi which had two but were almost indistinguishable and keeping with the panel segmented theme of the Nu Gundam. You look at the chest, shoulder, and the leg armor and you can see points where it seems the armor slides, so obviously it will have Psychoframe parts and an "INVOKE" mode like the Nu Gundam .

Sazabi marks the debut of the MP-2 runner; fully articulated, pre-built hands molded for the Zeonic designs (swollen, curved fingers).

Including the sniper rifle which was used in the novel/manga of the film from what I've read, but still no sign of Sazabi's other beam weapons, or its Funnels.

I'm still waiting to see what they're going to do with the Head, since it 's the cockpit. Bandai might try to put an LED unit in the neck (like they've been doing for the last few models) OR we might see them build it up like the Rick Dias with a detachable cockpit sphere so we can Nu Gundam dunk it into Axis.

Is the shiny coating a

Is the shiny coating a standard feature or is there going to be an HD Color version like the Zeta kits?

It looks like they painted it. you can see the spray pattern on the skirt armor.

Bandai already has a 'Titanium' finish for the Nu Gundam on the release board, so I wouldn't put it past them to already have a metallic coated version of the Sazabi coming soon too.
