Sun-Min and I created Uglydollâ„¢ in hopes of relaying our belief that there is no such thing as '˜Ugly,' and what you have to offer us all from the inside is what makes you beautiful. The funny twists and turns on both our inside and outside make us who we are and should be celebrated.'
Uglydollâ„¢ is an art-based designer character driven brand that was conceived in 2001 by artists David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim. The Uglydollâ„¢ brand encompasses plush dolls and key chains as well as designer t-shirts that are sold in a variety of museum shops worldwide as well as specialty retail shops. The Uglydollâ„¢ brand is based on several individual characters that have unique narratives of the peculiarities and personalities of each character. Uglydollâ„¢ products allow children of all ages to be creative and explore their own sense of expression and individuality.
