DX Chogokin YF-25 from Macross Frontier Updated

Here's a scoop! Bandai just announced plans to produce a DX Chogokin YF-25 Prophecy from Macross Frontier! This VF-25 prototype appeared briefly in the two Macross Frontier movies and also got its own 1/72nd scale model kit. Features a redesigned canopy and a unique head design. Coming June 2014 for 14,000 yen.

I guess it was only a matter of time before they released this mold in trainer colors.

It's not a trainer, it's a prototype based on an actual Mitsubishi F-2 design. They did the same thing with the VF-0B Hasegawa kit.
