14 comments postedHmm...Lambert and Ripley don't seem as cool as the first run (especially Dallas, which was REALLY cool-looking).
But more importantly, that Biollante is amazing!! If Roger Harkavy doesn't like it, I'm going to man-slap him in the face! ;)

Oh, yeah? Well, I'm giving you a kick in the "butt"!
Why do you keep making me edit you, Roger? Look, I loved "Run, Ronnie, Run" as much as the next guy, but I just don't think that's appropriate here.
And yeah, that's a pretty cool Biollante.

Just checking to see if the profanity filter (human eyeballs) was active.
And don't kid yourself, Dave, there was no "next guy" who liked Run, Ronnie, Run, it was just you. (I only liked that part with Jack Black.)
That scene isn't even the best musical part of the movie. The Mandy Patinkin "Y'all are brutalizing me" song was better. You need to think again.. and think right this time!

I was just going to comment how neat the Lambert and Ripley vinyls were... I've never seen them before and they're cute. 23cm seems really big for the price tho... is that right?
Yes, those prices are accurate and pretty standard really. Of course, those are the Japanese pre-order prices so I'm sure as soon as they get released and imported, you'll see them selling for something like $90 here. :(

So they're really that big too? It's almost too big for me. They are neat tho. How's the clear visor made? Can vinyl be clear?
Of course vinyl can be clear! Next to glow, it's probably the most popular gimmick. But I'm not totally sure if those helmets (which are removable, btw) are entirely made of clear vinyl partly painted or if they are two parts with a plastic shield.

Hehe...yeah, definitely lots of clear vinyl out there!
I dig Dallas and Kane more because their colorways are just more interesting. It's cool to know that the helmets come off--I sorta assumed that, but I'm glad to get the confirmation, Nekrodave.
Yeah, it looks like the helmets are shot in clear vinyl, then sprayed translucent black (or white for Ripley).

Is Yadoro supposed to be Dogora?
Hmmm. They do seem similar I guess, but I don't think so.

Yeah, I'm not sure where Yadoro comes from, but I think the official toy line designation is, "Kaiju Tengoku Series Mini Yadoro".
Though the character may be a rip-off of the Toho monster, I'm confident that this toy is NOT supposed to be Dogora. Marmit wouldn't make a mistake that big...especially when they have their own actual Dogora toy.
