Bandai 1/72nd scale Transforming VF-1A/S Valkyrie kit Video Presentation

Wow. Looks good in concept and a lot more innovation with this model than Yamato's work.

I know Bandai's been making the move to traditional waterslide decals for the detailing, but I'm curious about what the colored parts are going to be.

If I had to guess, it'll be PS plastic white, black and gray for the outer body with an ABS plastic gray inner frame, but what about the red panels?

From what I've seen the only

From what I've seen the only colored parts besides the gray internals and the gun pod are the canopy cover, the leg fins, and the little bulge on the back of the backpack. That may be just from a test shot though since they announced a VF-1S Roy Focker version up next.

If all the parts weren't

If all the parts weren't colored and had to be done in with decals or paintwork, there would be no reason to release a Roy Focker version. Since there is one coming, I think it's fair to assume this is like a Master Grade kit in that no painting will be required and use of decals will be for warning labels, not whole sections of the kit.
