There is always something interesting to see at the Kotobukiya room. In addition to the usual Star Wars kits, they had some surprises.

First off were figures from the Yaoi series Lamento. If you have to ask what Yaoi is, then these figures aren't for you. Konoe and Asato are both 7" tall and come with removable accessories. Each figure comes with a stand and an exclusive Japanese audio drama cd. The CD stores in the base of the stand, a nice touch.

Up next is the cute and sexy Mirei-San statue. Mirei-San comes from the mind of the famous illustrator Shunya Yamashita. The figure is 7.5 inches tall and comes with changeable hair, hands and removable high heels. This figure will come in a white and black version.

This cheeky figure is the Shion-Chan Art Bust. The figure shown here is the Japanese version. The US version may be modified a bit for the domestic market.

From the Witchblade Anime comes Maria and Masane Amaha. Each figure is fixed pose and stands about 10" tall.

Kotobukiya is showing love to the supplemental mecha from Ghost in the Shell with its Jigabachi AV Helicopter model kit. This kit features a movable propeller, articulated display stand, and a small articulated Tachikoma.

Of course Kotobukiya had their Front Mission model kits on display. Each of these kits is customizable with optional weapons and armor that can be purchased separately.

The bread and butter of Kotobukiya's offerings was their Star Wars vinyl model line. Each of these is highly detailed representations of key characters in the star wars saga. The figures are 12 1/2" tall and pre-painted, all you have to do is put them together. The most exciting announcement for this line was that Kotobukiya is doing a set of figures inspired by the famous Ralph McQuarrie concept art!
