While the hordes descend on the Transformers section, it's nice to slip away to one of the less appreciated lines - Transformers Rescue Bots.
These are the kid-friendly designs that the Transformers team WISH they could do. Some of these designs are outstanding.
Optimus Primal mixes Optimus with a Dinobot to form a rather familiar beast like shape:
Some of the transformers this year are actually powered suits that humans can drive. Each of these has an opening chest compartment for a human driver:
The largest of these is a 24" jumbo sized Epic Optimus Prime. I felt him, and it feels like he's made out of polyethelene, which is jumbo material. Unfortunately, turning him around revealed his limbs to be hollow. Still, he'll look cool on the shelf.
