Much like Bandai America, Tomy in the US bears little relation to Tomy Japan. Very few of their cool lines make it here, and those that do are managed by Hasbro under the Transformers brand. That's not to say Tomy didn't have some cool stuff. They did, but little of it is relevant to our audience.
For those of you who like the Pokemans, there are a few new role play items like a shoulder-mounted Pikachu that fires discs, and also electronic battle gloves. Probably the biggest news out of the Pokemon line is the fully articulated Ash figure.
Battroborgs are back with a smaller arena and new control configuration. Instead of the dual controller you now have a single controller that resembles a sword handle. The new version is called Battroborg Warriors, and each robot has a fighting style reminiscent of a specific style of warrior.
Sonic is back with a new series called "Sonic Boom". Most of the designs we were not able to photograph, but there will be a full line of articulated figures and vehicles, some with rip-cord action.
