I almost wasn't going to cover this, but I thought the idea was novel. When I first saw these round discs, I thought, great, another spinning top game. But that is not the case here with Denkosekka. This one's a Yo-Yo game. Here's how it works. You put a mat on the ground, and then you place these targets down, each with a point value. The smaller the target area, the higher the point value. Then you get these yo-yo controllers which have magnetic tips, and the idea is to "battle" by using the yo-yo to gather point chips off of the ground. You can take turns, or you can basically attack each other. Anyway, I thought it was a novel idea. Check them out when they hit stores.
