At the front of the booth, Bluefin was showing of their Chogokin Hello Kitty. Charles, Josh and I got chance to handle this piece and we were really impressed at the weight of this mecha-kitty.
There was also a superb Super Mario display that used the upcoming S.H. Figuarts Mario and his accessory kit.
Next to the wonderful S.H. Figuarts Daft Punk figures, Bluefin displayed the next release in the musically-themed subcategory of the long-running line.
It is Michael Jackson from his appearance in the Smooth Criminal video.
Another upcoming release in the S.H. Figuarts line is the Batman from the Injustice video game. Although it was only a prototype figure, it looked quite sexy in light grey.
So much for Batman only working in black and dark grey. Guess that is only Lego Batman.
There was a fully painted Figuarts Zero Sailor Moon, as well as a prototype of her brainy, water-using friend, Sailor Mercury.
For the proper S.H. Figuarts line, Bandai had 4 of the 5 original Sailor Senshi displayed: Moon, Mercury, Mars and Venus. Only Venus has yet to see release.
We also got a chance to check out the replica Moon Stick for the eponymous Sailor Moon.
In the Figuarts Zero line, Bandai displayed 3 Super Saiyans- Goku, Vegeta and Trunks-and a Frieza.
There was also a display of the articulated Dragonball Z S.H. Figuarts.
The big reveal for the anime-themed section of the S.H. Figuarts line was the unveiling of the S.H. Figuarts Uzumaki Naruto.
This was Bandai’s most requested anime character for the line. As Bandai is known to do, they listened to the fans and is giving them their very own super-articulated Konoha ninja.
The character is based of his appearance in the Naruto Shipuuden video games because Bandai wanted the figure to capture the extreme poses that the character displays in theses video games.
In the S.H. MonsterArts dipsplay we had: Mothra, Godzilla(s), Kiryu, Battra, Little Godzilla, Biollante and Gigan.
There was also a teaser sign for the upcoming S.H. Figuarts Godzilla from the 2014 Legendary Pictures film
S.H. Figuarts Aliens and Predators.
Chogokin General Franky
The 12PM line was represented by the duo from Tiger and Bunny and C3PO.
As well as a couple of the Figuarts Zero One Piece pieces.
The Super Robot Chogokin line was represented by Shin Getter 1, Mazinkaiser and the Genesic Gaogaigar.
The Chogokin Yamato from the Yamato 2199 and Apollo 11 Space Shuttle were also in attendance.
There were also several model kits of the other non-Yamato ships in the Yamato 2199 anime.
There were Gundams galore!
Robot Spirits
Gundam Assault Kingdom figures
Gundam models
SD Gundam models
Also appearing in model-kit land, were the Valvrage kits.
One oddity at the Bluefin booth were the Smartpants: plastic underwear for your smartphone.
Also in attendance were several Kamen Riders: the Renewal Kabuto, Black, and Black RX.
On the same shelf as the Kamen Riders were a few of the Ultrman UltraAct figures.
Bluefin Tamashii Nations had a display of a couple of Saint Cloth Myth. Present was Athena and her Bronze Saints in their BLANK edition God Cloth. Seiya was noticeably missing, he probably need to rest some more after that big fight with Hades.
Also on display were the future Saint Cloth Myth EX releases of Wyvern Radamanthys and Aries Shion.
There was also a display of the D-Arts (S.H. Figuarts) Digimon.
In the S.H. Figuarts Power Rangers display there was a full Mighty Morphin’ team (plus Armored Red) and the Super Robot Chogokin Daijyujin/ Dino Megazord.
The Megaman D-arts also graced the showroom floor.
There was also a display of Lost Planet figures and mechas.
