Our buddy, Frank, at Kotobukiya is an absolute riot. This dude's got more stories than anyone I can think of! Just the ones about his ex-roommate, a little person, are gonna stay with me to the grave...

See...that's what's great about Comicon--not just the toys/comics/whatever, listening to celebrities, or standing in line for 3 hours to see a 10-second clip of a movie coming out next summer. Comicon is about people. (aaaawwwwww)

Anyway, before I get too far off topic and regale you with stories of paper-throwing fights at Dick's Last Resort or drunken bonfires on San Diego's beaches, I better squeeze some toy talk in here!

First up is one of the biggest attention-getters at the Kotobukiya booth: the Artfx Master Chief statue from the video game, Halo:

One of the more interesting things to catch my eye: Ghost in the Shell's Jigabachi!

There were plenty of figures from many different properties, including Granzort (see the top row), Armored Core, Final Fantasy, Aliens versus Predator...

...and more girlie figures than you can shake your...well...a lot of girlie figs, okay?
