Vintage Lego sets have a certain charm to them that makes them quite nostalgic and also a bit adorable. Great review as always.

I had this set!

I remember being bugged about the "Fire Chief" stickers on the side, since they effectively glued a few bricks together.
I always liked how the old sets didn't have any specialized bricks - it felt more about creativity back then rather than Lego just inventing a new brick to complete a kit.

Thanks Dkun, it's great to review a vintage set here as we cover so many modern Lego kits nice to go back and overview the history of Lego.

Magicssp00n, I found that kind of odd about the stickers as well, mine was already built when I received it so there was no way to build the alternate version. Interesting that the 2nd fire cheif's car looks similiar to the alternate version.

Building a current kit that I just picked up that was one feature I found interesting, so many unique parts, back in the 80s it was all about using the same bricks for everything.

Thank you!

Leonardo
