Getter 3

Review by JoshB
I love the design of the original Getter 3. It’s so goofy and innocent, yet powerful in its own way. Marmit captured a great likeness of the robot here in its Mini-Metals line.
Marmit’s Mini-Metal line is one that is often overlooked by collectors. The toys have minimal articulation, and aren’t that big, but are loaded with metal. They look great on the shelf and feel good in the hand.
Getter 3 features a solid diecast lower and upper body, with the only plastic being the tank treads, arms and head. It’s a hefty little guy, and could probably break a window if you threw it at one. It’s only about 3 inches tall, but the weight makes up for it.
The paint is a glossy enamel that is deep and shiny. Plastic parts are molded in color.
Only the arms move.
Although this line ceased years ago, you can still find them pretty easily, for cheap, but completing a run may be difficult as each entry had up to 4 color variations.
