In November 2011 Max Factory released soft vinyl figures of Big Duo and Big Fau; the two main villain mechas from Big O. These are completed figures and in scale with the Max Gokin Big O.
The box is huge, thick cardboard with nice imagery on the front and back.
The figure stands almost 13 inches tall and towers over he Bandai Soul of Chogokin Big O.
The figure is very solid but lightweight (for its size), extremely well detailed and painted. There are some joints with a minimal amount of motion; rotation at the shoulder and elbow, hip and knee. The hands are also rotate and the wrist and finger. You wont be pulling off any extreme poses here. I noticed while i was taking pictures that the right leg is actually a little bit longer than the left.
The cockpit is actually molded in a semi transparent green.
The figure is a good companion piece to Big O, below is a comparison with the Max Gokin Big O reviewed by Josh.
Overall this is a good quality figure and a great companion piece to the Max Gokin Big O. Unfortunately the figure doesn't really do it for me and I can't recommend it as a standalone piece. It is pricy at 12,190 yen and does not really offer any play value. If you really love Big O or Big Duo and have the Max Gokin to go along with it picking this up is a no brainier.
