Anchorman '77 Custom Dodge Van

This was an impulse buy on my part, but I love Anchorman. And his was only about 4 bucks - which is a lot for a HotWheels car, but still cheap enough for me to not think too much about it.

In the 2004 Movie, Will Farrel plays Ron Burgandy, the sexist, racist news anchor for the channel 4 KVWN news team. The team is based out of San Diego, which as you know means Whale's Vagina.

This Hot Wheels car comes on a blister card.

On the back, more goddamn text than is humanly required, in several different languages. When we have to do this, something has gotten out of hand.

The van is a 1977 Dodge custom van. It's got an attachment at top that is supposed to represent an extending ladder, but the piece is not moveable. On either side is the station logo.

The van also features rubber tires, something missing in most modern Hot Wheels cars.

In all - it's a fun little trinket from a movie that has had little merchandising despite it's pop culture relevance. Fun to have, but won't break the bank.
