Arcee
Much like the review on Chromia I did recently, Arcee is a pre-release sample so no box is available at time of writing.
Arcee comes molded in very nice pinks and whites and retains a fresh off the screen look. Sure there are differences, but it’s as good as it’s going to get for now.
Some complaints have surfaced about the big backpack, but it’s accurate and part of her recognizable look. Besides, where is she going to keep all her shoes?
Whoever designed this worked very hard at keeping her very feminine and balanced while still looking like she could kick butt…
That is until you see her friendly smiley face. Not very intimidating.
Arcee sports generous amounts of articulation which allow a proper kneeling pose.
Arcee comes with two clear blue bladed weapons.
She can store them on her forearms like the Prime Arcee figure.
She can also store them on her side, but they look a bit awkward.
She also comes with two blasters of different sizes.
They can store on her sides, but please forgive me for installing the blasters using the handles instead of the sidepegs. They secure themselves closer to the leg when pegged correctly.
She can store her blasters on her shoulders to mimick all the other cool autobots.
Here she is next to her friend Chromia which I reviewed previously.
Here she is next to Perfect Effect RC which I also reviewed here.
Next to her two Prime releases. On the left the First Edition and on the right the PRID.
Transformation is quite simple without being overly so. Requires a bit of unfolding.
Vehicle mode looks pretty show accurate.
All her weapons can store on the outside.
There are even spots underneath the vehicle to store her blasters when not in use.
A nice touch was the molded in detail in the dashboard.
This completes my fembot reviews. If you want a more accurately colored Arcee, you may want to hold off and get the Takara version.
