Banigoth Horde

Original MSRP: 6.00

I’ve been remiss in not covering this little part of the Glyos family before on CollectionDX.

Banimon is a comic book by a good friend of mine, Boris Savic, whom I met through Matt from Onell Design. He has a decidedly different take on utilizing the Glyos joint system. Boris’ style is very unique and I think it translates great into toy form.

In this review i’ll be covering the Banigoth Horde, and Red Army Muscle Man. They are the same figure sold in different colors with different default configurations.

Each comes bagged with a header card designed by Boris.

The figures are only 1 inch tall. That’s TINY, but they manage to pack 16 individual pieces into this set.

The Red Army Muscle Man is named due to being similar size and color to the M.U.S.C.L.E. figures from the 80s.

You can reconfigure the weapons to produce cooler weapons! Also, a sword is included!

The true fun though is mixing and matching the parts. You can do a lot with only 16 parts.

The Banigoth Horde head mixes Darth Vader with a Hello Kitty aesthetic. I love it.

You can combine parts with other Glyos figures as well. Here I’ve made a Wraith Horde Pheyden.

Boris has just released a vinyl tank that is compatible with the Banimon figures (much like the Rig is compatible with Glyos figures) and adds a ton of play value. For more about Boris and Banimon, check out the official website at http://www.banimon.com/
