It’s no secret that I love “Tiger & Bunny.” It was, quite possibly, my favorite show to come out of 2011 – a year that brought us “Steins;Gate,” “Madoka Magica” and the incredibly undervalued “Mawaru Penguindrum.” My figure collection count for “T&B?” 13, with two in shipping.

I’m a fan.

While Wild Tiger is undeniably my favorite, what is Tiger without Bunny? Therefore, Chibi-Arts’ Barnaby Brooks Jr.

His box is pretty standard. The glue kind of came un-glued a bit on the back, but that’s probably just a problem with shipping things in Texas (yes, even in October).

And here’s Bunny in his case! As you can see, he has a good amount of extra parts and accessories. Three faces, two hair pieces, four sets of arms? That’s a lot. And, of course, there’s the curry plate and the plushy bunny. He’s fully loaded.

Bunny out of the case! He’s got a little sass going, with the hand on his hip. A little odd for Bunny, but that’s okay. Misplaced sass does come back in this figure.

Here he is from the side. He kind of bows forward a bit in the waist and hips, but he doesn’t have to stand that way. The stand is very easy to use, quite convenient. Chibi-Arts is usually pretty good about that.

And now Bunny from the back! All is well here.

Here’s Bunny’s face without the glasses. I’m not terribly fond of him without, so I’ll keep the glasses on for much of this review.

Whether he’s thinking sad thoughts or, as fangirls like to dream, thinking of Tiger, Bunny blushing is incredibly adorable.

Here’s that sass again. Honestly, I don’t get it. He’s probably just hamming it up for the cameras, but still… Sass just wasn’t a major part of his character.

Ready to squee?

This is my absolute favorite pose. The chibi aspect of this figure makes him look kind of like a lost little boy, or something. Honestly, he’s just adorable here. The bunny is really easy to put into his arms, and then you just melt looking at him. Such a sweet pose. It almost makes me forget I like Tiger more.

This is how I feel fangirls will react upon seeing him with his toy bunny:

You can see on that picture that his hand isn’t shoved all the way into the wrist socket. The one thing I don’t like about Chibi-Arts is their tendency to snap if you push too hard. If you watch the video below, you’ll see why it worries me (towards the end). In any event, I won’t push too hard with them, so the hand kind of sticks out a bit.

Hungry?

Tiger makes Bunny a plate of shrimp curry in the show – Chibi-Arts included it. Blue Rose comes with Pepsi and Dragon Kid comes with cheese puffs, or something like that, and steamed buns. This group likes to eat.

One of the more heart-wrenching moments in the series is the whole “We believe in heroes” thing. It seems natural that skeptical Bunny would have the banner.

All in all? He’s a great figure. He’s (mostly) easy to play with, looks fantastic and has a lot of versatility both with what you can do with him and the amount of different things to do with him, thanks to his accessories. Bunny is definitely a fun one to play with, and when you throw him in with the others…

Well, a good time is had by all.
