Bistan Vs. Shoretrooper Captain

These 2-packs were an incredible value. In them you got 2 nicely detailed figures with 5POA plus accessories. One of the figures always came with a powered up accessory, in this case a dual-missile launching backpack!

The Bistan Vs. Shoretrooper Captain was part of the Rogue One assortment in 2016.

The packaging is nice, if not a little busy. I always think the blurb in the top right has something to do with Toys R Us, but it’s just promoting the associated app.

Bistan is one of the Rebellion troopers that participated in the attack on Scarif. Rogue One had a bunch of great aliens in the movie, and a suprising amount made it into the figure line. He’s got simple 5 points of articulation, but the sculpt and paint are great and he stands with no issues.

He includes a blaster, which also has paint apps.

The Dual-Projectile launcher is an added accessory that does not appear in the movie, but is included to add play value. It’s actually a fantastic accessory, and fits onto Bistan well.

The pack has movable arms so Bistan can hold the controls. Note the two buttons on the back. You can use them to launch one missile at a time, or both at once.

The Shoretrooper Captain is also a simple figure, but such a great design. He comes with a long rifle that is often warped in the package. He’s the same sculpt as the single-carded Shoretrooper figure but has updated paint to denote him as Captain.
