For a review of the first set in the series, “Cozying up by the Stove,” go here.

The second set in Re-Ment’s Nostalgic 80s Home series, “watashi no takaramono” or “My Treasure” focuses on the younger Sister of the family and her most prized possessions.

“My room is tiny but it’s full of treasure. My favorites are the Cutie Compact that my Grandpa got me and the dresser Santa got me for Christmas. If I hold the stick and shout ‘transform!’ I’ll feel like Cutie Ribbon.”

Cutie Ribbon of course, is the widely popular 80s Magical Girl anime that never existed.

The Cutie Dresser given by Santa features a reflective mirror sticker and opening drawer. The only thing that really fits inside is the Cutie Compact.

Similarly, the Cutie Compact from Grandma also features a small reflective sticker and opens up.

The Cutie Stick allows the user to transform into the Magical Girl, Cutie Lemon.

Like all sets in the series, “My Treasure” features cutout extras to accentuate the set. Four cards are included featuring the three Cutie Honey girls as well as what is probably their talking animal sidekick. There is also a large Cutie Honey coloring book.

A small folder that can hold the trading cards requires some folding to complete. Like chrome plastic, small paper craft items are the bane of my sweaty hands.

Each set also contains a cutout insert for the TV. This set includes a scene from Cutie Lemon from possibly a transformation or opening sequence.

Trying to catch a reflection in the mirror was surprisingly difficult.

“Due to budget constraints, Kamen Rider Kuuga Cutie Form did not appear in the series. “

“My Treasure” is another neat little set giving insight to life of a Japanese family in the 80s. It’s probably the only set that works as a standalone but I still would suggest buying the whole case. I’ve had a lot of fun opening these one at time and can’t wait to open the rest!
