Dokuro Dandy
Kigurimix are a series of bottle cap figures released by Tomy in Japan. Each figure is about 2 inches tall, and is permanently attached to a base. When activated, a Kigurumi will dance along with music, or with each other! Kigurumix figures respond to sound, whether it is a clap of the hand or a techno beat. Please see our feature article for more background information.
Dokuro Dandy is part of the Kigurumiman series, a sub-line of Kigurimix that features sentai-styled figures with its own little back story. He is number 6 in the First Battle series. Dokuro means “Skull” in Japanese. He comes with a skull helmet, two skull sticks, and a bottle cap connector. The skull sticks, known as Dokuro sticks, come in ii-no (good) and wauri-no (bad) versions.
When activated, Dokuro Dandy does a little dance. If you play some music, he will find the beat, and dance to it. When placed near other Kigurimix figures, they will sync together and dance.
You can also put Dokuro Dandy into the driver’s seat of the Warumono type Norimonoman battle panda.
