Fill up with Sushi
For part six of Sushi-go-round, go here.
Part seven of Sushi-go-round is “Challenge to the Limit!” (Genkai Ni chosen) or “Fill up with Sushi.” I’m actually not sure what the set is supposed to be, as the name seems to insinuate eating as much as possible but nothing in the set seems particularly filling.
Like always, cutouts are included I forgot to take a picture of the screen insert.
The chopstick holder (hashi-ire) has a transparent top and hinged flap that opens. I like this piece a lot and it’s nice to have something to store all the chopsticks that have come in various re-ment sets.
The little flag thing seems to be for ordering the sumo sushi figures and sits on two plates. I’m guessing you just grab it and someone will bring you the figure.
The raw shrimp sushi (nama ebi) has some pretty raw looking colors and comes as a separate piece from the plate.
I’m not entirely sure which type of sushi this is supposed to be; it’s called roll sushi, but looks kind of like a California roll with fish eggs or something.
I really can’t say anything new about these sets as I’ve been repeating the same thing over and over. I guess as an individual set, it’s not as interesting, but the chopstick holder is a really useful piece. Only one more set left in the series!
