Good Knight

Machine Robo will always be fondly remembered by me for their interesting alt modes and simplistic design; a perfect example of this is MR.44, better known in the states as the hilariously named Good Knight!

Good knight’s alt mode is a red car possibly from the 20’s. It hides the fact that it can transform at all very well, and despite it’s small size, this cute little classic car looks stunning!

Transformation is just perfection. The legs pull out from the front, arms from the back. The body and head are then formed by rotating the middle around. It’s short but definitely sweet.

In robot mode good knight manages to hide about 1/3rd of the alt mode, making for a solid, focused design. The blue is also a nice touch, as it breaks up the monotonous red.

Poseability is obviously, just in the arms, revealing a brand on his hand much like tote from raiders of the lost ark!

Size is also typical, standing in line with other gobots.

In conclusion, Good Knight is a solid machine robo, with an interesting alt mode and great transformation that has quickly became one of my favorite gobots!
