Iron Man War Machine

Original MSRP: 16.64

This is an odd one. It’s War Machine, with an Iron Man paint scheme, made by a little known company called Tideway. It’s labeled Iron Man War Machine, and there is no copyright information anywhere on the box. Your guess is as good as mine.

This toy features a neat sound activated light-up action. The lights go on with any loud noise, like a clap.

The toy comes in a non-descript box, with a clear front and back.

To get ready for play you need to attach the cannon to the back, and then attach the ammo belt. The belt is made out of real metal, and is flexible at every link. The belt takes a little work to fit into either slot, but it will go in.

It’s more articulated than you think, with joints at the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists and knees.

Variant hands are included. One looks to hold a weapon, and the other is the palm out action pose.

To enable the light up feature, remove the top of the head. This reveals the battery compartment and the microphone. Just remove the tab and you are ready to go. Don’t lose this tab!

Any loud noise, such as a clap, will activate the lights. The lights will stay on for maybe 15 seconds, then turn off. If you want to disable the feature, you need to re-insert the tab.

The plastic tray has a space for a long weapon, maybe some sort of javelin. The variant hand is meant to hold a weapon, but none is included. Was this omitted for production late in the process, or is mine just missing?
