Jungle Hunter Predator (Water Emergence)

The Jungle Hunter Predator is your original Predator from the original movie. Here he is in a “Water Emergence” deco.

I’m all for recolors, as I know molds are expensive and need to be recouped, but wow, this is a stretch. it feels like each Predator comes in Regular, Invisible, Active Camouflage, Battle Damage and now Water Emergence. You gotta really love Predators to grab all of those. To be fair, this is not exclusive to Hiya Toys – NECA is just as guilty of this, even more so.

Still, it looks pretty cool. Nice paint over a translucent body.

Right off the bat we have a problem. One of the leg pins is not stuck in all the way.

The Jungle Hunter body is a weird hybrid of the bodies. Here we have bicep swivels, but still the old style elbow joints. There are double knee joints, but we have covered the issue with that.

Accessories include 2 extra hands, stand, 2 stand connectors, and the same human spinal column that they re-use often.

I ended up pushing the knee pin back in with some needle-nose pliers, but I shouldn’t have to do that. At $20, they shouldn’t have issues like that.
