Kotetsu T. Kaburagi
“Tiger & Bunny” remains one of my favorite shows. My favorite character? Wild Tiger, aka Kotetsu T. Kaburagi. He’s the latest in the lineup of of Bandai’s Chibi-Arts line.
This handsome devil came to us courtesy of HobbyLink Japan, who we love. You can check him out here: http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN975633.
Kicking it off traditional-like, here’s his box! No surprises there.
And here you can see all his parts and pieces.
And here he is! I think he looks adorable with his cap and vest. He has a lot of excellent details, too.
You can see his green and white communicator on his wrist here.
And from this side, check out his watch and beaded bracelet. Good touches!
His stand is nice as well; it’s got his name and nickname.
Let’s switch out some arms and a face!
I like the cheesy grin. It suits Kotetsu. It also doubles as a sheepish grin, which is VERY Kotetsu.
He also has his little mask:
Kinda reminds me of Nightwing.
And, of course, bragging face. I like the shrug. What happens if you slap some food in his hands?
You can see the curry plate, along with… something. Eggplant?
More curry?
There are a couple of really emotional moments in the show. One of those involves Origami Cyclone and a “We believe in HEROES” sash.
The last accessory is absolutely my favorite.
To say that I squee’ed when I put this in Tiger’s arm would be an understatement. Love it! He goes so well with Barnaby.
All in all? Great figure, super well-made and easy to use. He’s an excellent addition to my collection!
