Police Braver NULL Nissan Fairlady Z Unmarked Patrol Car
Null is the 12th release in TakaraTomy’s Jobraver line. His full name is “Police Braver NULL Nissan Fairlady Z Unmarked Patrol Car” but we’ll just call him Null for short. He’s another excellent entry in the line.
The inside packaging of modern toys gets cheaper and cheaper, with little opportunity to re-package. Inside a cardboard sleeve are bagged parts that must be torn open to access.
The core of the toy consists of the Nissan Fairlady Z Unmarked Patrol Car and theĀ Investigation Police Jobroid figure.
The car is an unmarked Nissan Fairlady Z Police car. It’s got a few tampo details for the Nissan badging, but the windows and tail lights are decals. I don’t know why they bothered with window decals as they are black just like the figure.
The Jobroid figure is a standard police-type, just colored differently for this release. Several eye stickers are included for you to choose from.
The gun can be stored in the back of the head.
Fold up the Jobroid, stick him under the car, and the spring loaded action pops up the head and arms while ejecting the leg parts. You’ll need to apply them yourself. From there you get the base robot:
BUT WAIT – to make him NULL, you need to add the mask and wings. The mask just clips over the existing head, and the wings clip on the back. I wish the the accessories had some use in the other mode, but they are just parts waiting to be added.
Null looks great! That sinister grin reminds me of Love Machine from Summer Wars!
The wings can rotate and swivel. With the wings mounted on the back, this is Null Version W.
The wings can be detached and combined to form a shield. This is Null Version SH.
The shield can be used as a hoverboard, with the feet connecting via pegs. This is Null Version FB.
The shield halves can be used as weapons. This is Null Version SW.
Null can combine with the KOBAN armor to form Null Koban Armor!
I love this toy line so much. Null is a great addition, and as you can see above, plays great with other sets!
